9 weird behaviors only Westie owners will understand ❀️ 🐾

7 years in and this little monkey still surprises me daily

I noticed Sami the other day doing something so ridiculous that I just stood there watching him, thinking: is this a Sami thing or is this a Westie thing?

And I already knew the answer. It's a Westie thing. It's ALWAYS a Westie thing.

After 7 and a half years of living with this little monkey he still surprises me daily. The way he talks back to me when I tell him β€œno”. The way he puts his butt down in the middle of a walk because HE has decided that we're going home now. The way he hears me open a jar from three rooms away and suddenly materializes in the kitchen like the Flash, looking at me with those big puppy eyes like he hasn't been fed in a week. Sir, you literally just ate!

Or my personal favorite: calling his name fifteen times and getting absolutely nothing. Nada. Zero response. He's busy, he cannot be disturbed. But then I open a treat bag and SUDDENLY he has supersonic hearing. Funny how that works, isn’t it? πŸ˜‚

I know I'm not the only one dealing with this. So I made a video about the 9 things that only Westie owners will truly understand. ❀️

From the Westietude (oh, you know exactly what I'm talking about), to the selective hearing, to the fact that nothing you own is yours anymore. Your sweater? That's his bed now. Your pillow? Also his. Your side of the bed? Please, that was never yours to begin with. You get the point.

And let's not even talk about the dirt situation. You get your Westie groomed, he looks like a perfect little marshmallow, and within 5 minutes he has found the ONE muddy patch in the entire park. Every. Single. Time. I'm convinced it's some kind of superpower.

I had so much fun making this video because every single point is something I deal with on a daily basis. And I already know that when you watch it, you're going to be nodding the whole time going "YES, mine does that too." ❀️

I need to know, which one of these is the most accurate for YOUR Westie? Reply and tell me, I'm so curious. My guess is the selective hearing is going to be a universal one πŸ˜‚
