6 things that make Sami happy (and they're all free)

I have a confession to make.

Over the past 7 years, I have spent an embarrassing amount of money on toys for Sami. Squeaky ones, plush ones, "indestructible" ones (destroyed in 4 minutes). Fancy dog puzzle toys. A ball that lights up. Something shaped like a croissant that I bought because I thought it was cute.

Most of them? Sitting in a box somewhere. Played with for a day, maybe two, and then he forgot all about them.

It took me way too long to realize that the things that actually make Sami the happiest don't cost me a single cent. Not one.

And once I figured that out, I felt a little silly for not seeing it sooner. Because the clues were always there. The way he melts when I scratch behind his ears. The way he lights up when I talk to him in a ridiculous baby voice. The zoomies that come out of nowhere and take over the entire apartment. ❤️
